Curriculum vitae (april 2011)

My research interests involve, on the one hand, the conditions of schools as knowledge-generating practices, and, on the other hand, the effects of IT and new media in different educational settings. Common to these interests are issues of how knowledge content is offered, transmitted to, and developed by both teachers and students. For example, this has involved research on matters of education policy involving control in schools, professionalization efforts in the teaching profession, and how students learn via new media and technologies.
